What are the drinking fountain like things that spray from the top at the gym for?
I've seen them at the gym at my college and I have no idea what they are for. They are in the wall and when you tun the handle for the drinking fountain, a nozzle at the to sprays water out.

I have seen people use them to spritz water on their heads, which helps cool off during intense exercise. I've never seen anyone use them for anything else, so I assume that's their intended purpose. By the way, I've seen them only in athletic facilities built around the same time period, I think the 60s. I wonder if it was trendy at one point?

Where can I buy a drinking fountain attachment for my kitchen sink faucet?
My wife really wants a drinking fountain at the kitchen sink. The plumber who is installing the sink said they used to make an adapter attachment that would screw onto the faucet, but he hasn't seen them for a couple of years. Does anyone know what he is talking about, and if so, where we might be able to find one? We've found one plumbing shop in the entire state of Utah who has one, but he won't sell it because he wants to use it as a prototype because the company he got it from doesn't make it any more. This is the one thing my wife wants more than almost anything else in her new kitchen, so if anyone knows where to find something like that, you would be a hero!

Check with Lowe's or Home Depot.

How are you supposed to get the water out of the drinking fountain in Catholic churches?
Every time I go to a Catholic church I see a drinking fountain directly inside upon entering, but they never have handles or anything so how the heck are you supposed to get the water out of the bowl? I just cup my hands like when I'm brushing my teeth. Are there, like, some cups or something I don't know about?

I know you're trying to rile up the Catholics by implying sacrilege but just so you know, very few will be offended. There are hundreds of shrines across the globe, the most famous of which would be the Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes in France, where the faithful are known to consume the blessed water from *flowing* water sources for extra graces, usually in hopes of miraculous medical recovery. We eat the body and blood of our God for crying out loud, there shouldn't be any Catholic who should be scandalized by the consumption of holy water. Personally, I'd never drink holy water from the common church font. You know how people put their dirty hands in there?
