Drinking fountain map

I got this question for hw: "Mile Square Park in Fountain Valley, California, is exactly one mile on each side. THe city officials want to create a park map, showing visitors where playgrounds, drinking fountains, restrooms, and paths are located. They want the map to fit on a standard 8.5in by 11in sheet of paper. Because the officials want the map to be easy to read, it should be as large as possible. That is, the scale factor from the map to the park should be as small as possible. If you consider only whole numbers for scale factors, what is the smallest possible scale factor that they could use?" I already did out the problem, but I'm really unsure about my answer. I'm not trying to cheat, I just want a second opinion. Thanks!

Sure women can do everything men can do except math, chess, running, jumping, lift things, make money, play hockey, surfing, driving, making decisions, being tall, taking out the trash, tipping, fishing, being funny on purpose, reading a map, listening to good bands, writing, running the country, inventing anything important, or being fun to hang out with, don't get me wrong i love women i just think they should drink from a separate water fountain. But no women may even be BETTER than men but wel never really know since their swinging at bigger balls (softball), hitting from closer tees (golf), doing push ups from their knees, and taking half the beetles money btches please!!! I love women but its all in the sake of fun XD they're amazing and i have one special lady of my own but it pisses me off when women try to say their better than men. Equality!
